Barry began his working career in the family landscaping business and eventually started Shademaster in 1980 to focus on the work he enjoyed most – residential landscape design-build projects. He’s had a personal hand in transforming innumerable front and backyards of the Golden Horseshoe over the years and considers it a privilege to have had some of his clients for over 30 years now.
Barry is the first to champion the value of a well-landscaped property, and he and his wife, Joanne, get endless enjoyment from their own (complete with outdoor kitchen and dining area, covered lounging area with fireplace and, of course, a playground for their many grandchildren).
